The Cooperative Extension has a booth at the Sunday morning Farmers' Market located on South Beaver Street between the Train Station and Altitudes restaurant. We need volunteers to promote the Master Naturalist Program.
The Coop booth will be providing information and handouts about Noxious and Invasive Weeds infesting our region.
We will also be promoting this year's Master Naturalist class up until it starts, which will be Thursday September 16th.
The need for Farmers' Market volunteers will start 25th July and continue through the end of Farmers' Market, which is October 10th.
Volunteers should call Wade 774-1868 extension 25. Note new extension number.
Volunteers start at 8am at the Market (For now).
