Here are shots of the Condor chick at Grand Canyon.
These first two photos were taken by Chad Olson, NPS biologist, using a digital camera fastened to the eyepiece of a GCNP Carl Zeiss spotting scope Monday, 2nd of August, 04. This chick is now assigned Stud Book #350, although it probably won't be tagged fo close to a year.

This photo was taken by Scott Harger, Master Naturalist, using a digital camera hand held to the eyepiece of a GCNP Burris spotting scope, also on 2 August. The chick is in the center, and the father, #122, is on the right. This was taken just after #122 fed #350.
How will we tell #342 (Vermillion Cliffs) and #350 (Grand Canyon) apart? It may get dicey when they get old and bold enough to travel between the two locales, but it's likely their old habits will help us keep them straight most of the time.
