Check out this brass beauty that was set up at our Condor Nest Watch station, Hopi Point, on 19 Nov:

This scope was set up by the guide and co-owner of Canyon Dave Tours, Dora Thayer (in the blue cowgirl fedora,) out of Tusayan. She said that they go to Hopi Point for the sunset, of course, but previously had not made it in time to catch the Condor Nest Watch people, who break off at about sunset.

This brass refractor is over one hundred years old, and is very similar to the one on display that was used by the Kolb Bros. Unfortunately, the Kolb scope has lost its glass.
The objective power of this scope is about 25 or 30X, but exceedingly bright and crisp.

The engraved manufacturer's mark says: "Bardou & Son, Paris".
