Please join the Northern Arizona chapter of the Audubon Society (NAAS) and UniSource for a volunteer work day at Page Springs Fish Hatchery Saturday, 4 December.
Please join NAAS and UniSource for a volunteer work day at Page Springs Fish Hatchery on Saturday, 4 December. We will remove invasive tree species, chip the branches and spread the chips on the trail. Bring water, work gloves, rakes and pitchforks if you have them, and your strong friends. It's very heavy, hard work but rewarding. Meet at 9am by the restrooms at the main Fish Hatchery. We will work until 3pm. Lunch will be provided.
Please contact Linda Raymond 282-6188 or email lraym@sedona.net to let us know that you'll be there so we have enough food and tools! If you need directions Linda can provide that info as well.
Many thanks to UniSource for financial and volunteer labor support. UniSource is providing the funds for the chipper and lunch. They are also sending a volunteer work crew.
