Governor's Water Listening Session

Water is the lifeblood of Arizona. On Thursday, December 16th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Northern Arizona University's Cline Library you have an opportunity to review and comment on The Drought Task Force report. Sponsored by Gov. Napolitano.

Water issues are a vital part of living in the southwest. The purpose of the session is to provide an opportunity for community members to comment on the Drought Task Force report and on other water issues of interest. Gov. Napolitano, Arizona Department of Water Resources Director Herb Guenther and water professionals from around the state will attend the listening session. The session will begin with an open house and information stations with background material on drought, conservation and other water issues. Participants then will have the opportunity to comment on water issues. Water information is available at the ADWR website at www.water.az.gov.
