Hart Prairie Preserve Nature Walks

Every year in the spring The Nature Conservancy offers a special two-day course in Hart Prairie Ecology. For 2007, this will be 16 May at the TNC Office in downtown Flagstaff, at 6:30 pm, and 20 May at Hart Prairie at 10am. Graduates of our course become volunteer nature hike leaders at Hart Prairie Preserve.

Nature walks take place every Sunday at 10 a.m., from June through mid-October. During Science Fest in Sep-Oct (Oct only in 2007), a Wednesday and Saturday are added. Note that most Wednesdays are eliminated this year. Meet at the SW corner of Basha's parking lot by the guard rail, and carpool to the preserve, same as last year.

San Francisco Street, suite 205. Neil Chapman, Operations Manager for the Northern Arizona Program, is managing volunteer activities this year.

If you are not a Nature Conservancy walk leader but would like to join one of the nature walks, we would love to have you. No reservations necessary.
