A large crowd of Grand Canyon Trust Volunteers heeded the call to wipe out several types of noxious weeds at and surrounding the Trust offices on highway 180 in Fort Valley.

Eventually, about two and a half truck loads of weeds were hauled to the Coconino County Weed Incinerator located at the County Yard off Railhead Ave. Use of the incinerator is free to county residents. Weeds must be bagged.

A short weed tutorial was given by Wade Albrecht, Coconino County Extension Service, and the weed pull was followed by a Condor update by Peregrine Fund Condor Program Manager Chris Parrish and a cookout.
