Grand Canyon Trust Weed Management Activities

Grand Canyon Trust volunteers, including some AZ Master Naturalists, at GCT Headquarters and neighboring fields.
A large crowd of Grand Canyon Trust Volunteers heeded the call to wipe out several types of noxious weeds at and surrounding the Trust offices on highway 180 in Fort Valley.

AZ Master Naturalist Bill Emig tosses another bag of toadflax on the pile.
Eventually, about two and a half truck loads of weeds were hauled to the Coconino County Weed Incinerator located at the County Yard off Railhead Ave. Use of the incinerator is free to county residents. Weeds must be bagged.
