
Come out enjoy the beautiful San Francisco Peaks while contributing your skills, talents, and hard work! Volunteers have the option of staying in one of our cabins free of charge (space permitting), camping in the nearby Coconino National Forest, or joining us for a day. Tasks for the October weekend include:
-Fence building to protect Bebb willows,
-Rehabilitating disturbed areas,
-Invasive species removal,
-Preparing for pile burning,

-Join Scott Harger and the students from the Navajo Nation's Shonto High School in removing a pesky population of flannel mullein from Fern Mountain Biological Preserve,
-And more.
There is a $25 fee per person for meals and supplies.
Dates: October 7-9, 2005. It is not necessary to attend all three days.
