SFPWMA Special Meeting Announcement, 30 November
Hello Weed Managers and Master Naturalists,
The San Francisco Peaks Weed Management Area will be having a practical meeting of sorts, as we convene at Picture Canyon for the purpose of mapping populations of Scotch Thistle, Yellow Starthistle and other invasive species. Bring your GPS units and geospatial mapping skills with you on Wednesday, November 30th at 1pm. This practical session will have the added advantage of getting us out in the late autumn sun. If weather (snow and/or bitter cold) precludes this outdoor activity, we will convene at the U of A, Coconino County Cooperative Extension offices. Look for a reminder notice prior to Thanksgiving.
