Ceremonious Pot Luck: It's a Party!

Master Naturalist and Watershed Steward candidates during ethnobotany field session. 'Some parts of the pine tree are edible.'
On Thursday, December 15th at 12:15, we will be having a get together of Master Naturalists, real and surreal. Classes from 2003, 2004 and 2005 will break bread together as we celebrate the stamping of certificates and modeling of the vests for those 2004 class members who have attained Master status by completing the volunteer requirement of 40 hours. Please bring a dish (or non-alcoholic beverage) and your favorite naturalist anecdote.

The remainder of the day will have USFS Environmental Educator, Karen Malis-Clark training the 2005 class in Project Learning Tree activities. For those of you from past classes that wish to join the fun, feel free to stay, as long as you keep the heckling to a minimum. This is an opportunity to meet people from classes other than your own, to share ideas, stories, and the planning of events in the devious subculture of natural resource and environmental education in northern Arizona.
