Volunteer Teacher Workshop at Willow Bend
Last term, many of you had requested more information on volunteer teaching here at Willow Bend. In response to this, we are hosting a Volunteer Teacher Workshop on Saturday, January 21st from 9am-12noon. During this workshop, we will learn/review basic child development and teaching practices through lively discussion and fun, hands-on activities. The information in this workshop will help you lead field trips at Willow Bend and/or co-teach with an instructor in the classroom.
If you decide to join us, please RSVP to me (info listed below) by Thursday, January 19th. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Please dress in layers appropriate for any weather as part of the workshop will take place outside. There will also be an opportunity to sign up to shadow Willow Bend educators in the field, so please bring your calendars.
