Roadside Cleanup Event

Our famous 'Nat-o-ralist' sign. ADOT finally came along and simply cut the top off the letter 'O'! Either the longest or most abbreviated Adopt-a-Hiway name in the state, you must drive under 45 miles per hour to read this.

Hello Master Naturalists,

Wade here! You are certainly and without doubt the luckiest Master Naturalists anywhere!

As the adoptive parents of I-40 near Flagstaff Ranch Road, we have scheduled an afternoon of litter clean-up on Thursday, May 4th at 1 PM. Please Join your comrades and classmates, who will be thinking globally while acting locally for just a couple of quick hours.
Terra Crampton has declared that there "may" [almost certainly] be further festivities following our afternoon of beautifying the roadside.
Bring a hat, sunscreen and your favorite gloves. We will provide paper pickers and water.
Donations of chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin or other sugar laden forms of food will be welcomed. In fact, this is probably the only way we can get Bill Emig, Cliff Holtz, or Scott Harger to attend. And probably Steve Nycz and Perry Crampton, too.
If you have not participated in this before, we generally park about 100 meters north of I-40 on Flagstaff Ranch Road. Flagstaff Ranch Road can be accessed by going west on Rt. 66 about 4 miles west of town, or by using the interstate exit.

See you there.
Wade
