Through an indoor talk and outdoor walk, Mike will draw on his 16 years of experience in herbal medicine to discuss a variety of local plant uses. Learn more about the life of this elusive predator with mountain lion specialist David Mattson! David has spent 25 years studying large carnivores with a recent emphasis on Flagstaff mountain lions. In this presentation, David will share the research he conducted for the USGS on mountain lion movement, habitat use, predation, and other aspects of their ecology.
