The forest is open and there is much work to be done! The Grand Canyon Wildlands Council would love for you to join them this weekend on the beautiful Mogollon Rim. There are several road segments in need of restoration due to the forest closures. Many of these roads lead into highly sensitive habitat areas and it is crucial that these be areas closed to motorized traffic as soon as possible.
YOU BRING: Your sleeping bag, tent, and your love for natural places WE
BRING: Everything else!
WHERE: The US Forest Service information center at Clint's Well (Directions
are online)
WHEN: Saturday, July 8- Sunday, July 9
We will meet Saturday morning at 10:00am.
This is a great opportunity to get out into the woods and have a good time
with new friends. Grand Canyon Wildlands Council will provide and prepare
your meals and snacks (lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch
on Sunday).
