Please help us get Slide Rock State Park ready for the Apple Festival and come enjoy the festival, too!

Slide Rock State Park is getting ready for the Second Annual Apple Festival on
Saturday, October 14th. In preparation for this event, the Ecological Monitoring & Assessment Program is sponsoring two volunteer events in October:
The first is on Friday, October 13th from 8 am - 12 pm. We will primarily be cleaning graffiti off the canyon walls and preparing the park for the festival on Saturday. Second, we will then return to the park the following morning from 8-10 am to help set-up.

This opportunity is a great way to enjoy the beautiful park and help out at the same time! Please RSVP if you would like to come along, and let Catherine know if you have transportation to the park.
