Kudos for everyone in the local Master Naturalist/Master Watershed Steward Program for your support of the recent National Conference for Master Naturalist Programs. And kudos for you, too! Master Naturalists turned out in strong numbers to help with setup, registration, daily technical support, and tour guiding.
Celeste Maccazano, Director of the National Program has compiled the feedback from attendees, which is listed below in continued reading.
Congratulations!
Michelle Haggerty [Texas MN Program] thought you all might like to hear some of the comments I've been receiving about the conference. I've been collating the kudos for publication on the web site (along with some pictures), but the full list is presented below for your reading pleasure. Some of them are from the evaluation forms, but the last 9 are from e-mails I received after the conference--

"The conference was a great success….met lots of wonderful people I'll be working with again, gots lots of great ideas, experienced the desert and Grand Canyon for the first time (two life birds)! Conference was well organized."
"Thanks for organizing a wonderful conference. Wade and Scott were the keys, of course, for those of us who have never had the opportunity to visit Arizona. What valuable fonts of knowledge! As a naturalist at the Battle Creek/Cypress Swamp Nature Center I have learned that it is the bits of local natural lure that seem obvious to those that see it every day that enthrall first time visitors. (For example: There was no battle at Battle Creek!) Wade and Scott provided a wealth of information, day after day. It was an exciting adventure to attend the conference. Thank you again for all the work you did to organize such a wonderful event and I hope you will invite me back next year."
"Thanks again for organizing a great conference."
"Thanks so much for a great conference! I really enjoyed it and feel I got a lot out of it."

"Thanks for the outstanding conference."
