Hart Prairie Naturalist Training

The Nature Conservancy
Planning for the Hart Prairie 2007 season has come alive at The Nature Conservancy.
Even if you are not a Master Naturalist, if you've thought about volunteering before, this is a great place to start.
Program Manager Neil Chapman has published the schedule for volunteer events and training. The volunteer tour leader and related information has been updated (see the Hart Prairie category over on the left side of this blog page.)
New for this year: Regularly scheduled Volunteer Appreciation Days throughout the summer.

The specifics for Spring are as follows:

16 May, 6:30pm Volunteer Tour Guide Training, at the TNC office downtown.
18-20 May Friday pm thru Sunday pm, Volunteer Work Weekend. You don't have to attend the whole shebang. Note that you may come and go, or sign up for a cabin, first come-first served, or camp out.
20 May 10:00am, Volunteer Tour Guide Field Training, at Hart Prairie.
31 May 5:00pm, First Volunteer Appreciation Night @Hart Prairie. Require RSVP.

The Regional TNC office is located in The Old Federal Building, 114 N San Francisco St, Suite 205.
