Local Birders Claim to Discover First Squird

Recently observed 'Squird' thought to be unique to Colorado Plateau.
Local birders took photos of this creature after followng a bird call that always ended with an angry chatter. While the location of the photo has not been released, the call was heard before near the NAU Biochemistry building by several people returning to campus from The Mad Italian.
Representatives from Northern Arizona Audubon have not yet commented, but a faculty member at the Ecological Restoration Institute, who asked to remain anonymous, pointed out that the appearance of this new species might be seen to coincide with the liberal usage of recycled water on Flagstaff lawns.
