VOAZ Mormon Lake Aspen Project
May 19 & 20 - Save the Aspen - Exclosure fence construction - Mormon Lake

Coconino National Forest has asked VOAz to return to the Mormon Lake area to build another elk exclosure fence.
Minimum age: 14

May VOAz events need your participation - Plus a special incentive.
The geniuses on the Projects Committee packed in a lot of work in May. Registration for the first two events is lagging--especially the second (Save the Aspen on May 19-20).
Right after that are our premier outings - Memorial Day weekend and July 21 & 22 at Hart Prairie Preserve. Perchance some of you are "saving yourself" for Hart Prairie? If so, here is how you can save yourself one of the limited spaces at Hart Prairie: Sign up before May 1 (or before we meet our targets) for Fort Apache (May 5-6) or
Save the Aspen at Mormon Lake (May 19-20) and we will put you at the top of the list for the Hart Prairie event of your choice. May 19-20 is most critical because we cannot build just half of an exclosure fence.
If you have already signed up for at least one of these two events, if you would like to be on the list for a Hart Prairie event, please email dana.stedron@voaz.org and tell her which one, let her know if you want a cabin or are willing to camp, or are indifferent on that matter. (If you sign up for one of the other two May events before May 1, please email Dana with the same information, if you are interested).
