Adopt-a-Highway Date Set for 13 July.

It's time once again to scour the roadside of I-40 for litter! To retain our Adopt-A-Highway status and highway sign, ADOT requires litter pick-up twice per year. Cooperative Extension provides gloves and litter grabber tools. ADOT provides safety vests and litter bags. You provide the time and effort!

Please mark your calendars for Friday, July 13 from 8 am to noon. We will need a group of at least six volunteers for this event. Please let me know by July 11 (Wednesday) if you will be participating in this volunteer activity. warzecha@cals.arizona.edu I will notify you if we do not get at least six volunteers.

For anyone who has not yet participated in this clean-up effort, the meeting place is Ranch Road off I-40 on the West end of Flagstaff.
