Adopt-A-Highway Event on October 19th

Adopt_a_Highway_logo.png

It's time to scour the roadside of I-40 for litter before the snow flies!
To retain our Adopt-A-Highway status and highway sign, ADOT requires litter pick-up twice per year. We will be bagging litter on Friday, October 19th from 8:30 to 12:30 on I-40 west of Flagstaff. Cooperative Extension provides gloves, vests, litter grabber tools, and lunch! ADOT provides litter bags. You provide the time and effort!

Note that we are in danger of losing our Adopt-A-Highway sign due to lack of participation. At least ten volunteers are needed for this event. Please e-mail warzecha@cals.arizona.edu before Wednesday, October 17 if you plan to participate.
The event will be cancelled if fewer than ten people respond.
Note that only those who have responded will receive notification.

For those who are participating for the first time, we will meet at the informal parking lot on Ranch Road off I-40 on the west end of Flagstaff.
