Get up close and personal with a hawk!
The Aboretum at Flagstaff will be offering small groups of four to eight people the opportunity to learn the basics of falconry. Under the guidance of licensed falconers, participants will handle live birds of prey. Groups will also have the chance to tour the Arboretum in winter when it is closed to the public.
Scheduled dates are: Friday, February 15 and Friday, March 14 from 9:45 to 11:30.
Fees are $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
Hawk walks can also be arranged for small groups on weekday mornings.
A Hawk Walk may be the perfect holiday gift for the bird lover on your list!
