Celebrating Volunteer Contributions
On April 25, Master Naturalist/Watershed Steward volunteers were honored at a special Volunteeer Apprecation Event at Thorpe Community Center. According to Candice Rupprecht, statewide Master Watershed Steward coordinator, this dedicated group has contributed 2/3 of all hours recorded statewide! Additionally, eight of the ten "outstanding volunteers" are from the Coconino County program. The event included awards, door prizes, hors d'oeuvres, and lots of laughter.
