Hart Prairie Preserve Nature Walks
Every year The Nature Conservancy offers a special two-day course in Hart Prairie Ecology. Graduates of our course become volunteer nature hike leaders at Hart Prairie Preserve. Nature hikes take place every Wednesday and Sunday, at 10 a.m., from June through mid-October. Participants meet at the Fort Valley Plaza Shopping Center parking lot (sw corner by the guardrail) and carpool to the preserve.
Training for the season has already taken place, but if you are interested in future activities, or if you have questions, call 928/774-8892 ext. 5 or e-mail rgarrett@tnc.org If you are not a Nature Conservancy walk leader but would like to join one of the nature walks, we would love to have you.
