Style Guide for Content

CONTENT:
1. This blog is for Master Gardeners and the High Elevation Gardening Program. Master Naturalists and 4-H, just as examples, have their own forums.
2. Keep language at a level acceptable for a public document intended for a general or scientific audience.
3. No policy dissertations. (If we ever get the Private Comments Option functioning, this might change.)
4. Please, no politics, put-downs, or sexual innuendo.
5. You can announce one-time sale of items relevant to Master Gardener activity, like a composter, or fountain pump, for example. Please, no garage sales or used skiis, etc.
6. Don't lift from other websites, except as part of a review, reference, or referral. In this case, include the URL link to that site. The exception is public domain material, such as from government publications and websites. In this case, you must still check for two things:
A. Statements of restricted use (usually for official seals, etc.)
B. Rights reserved by the original photographer or author. Any copyright must be honored, even if it appears on a government publication or site.
