Olivia White Hospice Garden Project

The garden continues to change color and fade into it's fall mode. This painting by Catherine Sickafoose is a distant memory now of a fruitful season.
Our regular Thursday workday this week included Nancy Palmer planting in the Faerie Garden and David Hockman continuing to compost the Native Garden. Joanie Abbott from Foxglove Landscaping provided a drip kit and Karen Kent, Linda Daugherty and Yiqun Lin,a new volunteer began installing drip emitters in the Rose garden while continuing to mulch them and other parts of the garden. Our work will continue in the gardens until mid-November, weather permitting, with emphasis on clean-up and finishing installing the drip emitters.
Thank you this week to:
Nancy Palmer for her continuing work in the Faerie Garden and for filling in for me while
I was attending the Highland Garden Conference
Karen Kent for her continuing work on the Rose Garden and getting everyone started with
putting in the drip emitters.
Joanie Abbott and her crew for continuing work on the drip system for the south garden.
David Hockman for hauling compost
Linda Daugherty and Yiqun Lin for work on the Rose garden and drip emitters
