Garden Volunteer Day at Colton Garden

Join Museum of Northern Arizona staff and volunteers and students from the Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy for the final community workday of the 2008 season.

Garden Volunteer Day
The Colton Community Garden
Friday, November 7th
9 am-1 pm

The growing season has come to a close and just as there are tasks to starting a garden, so are there tasks to putting a garden to rest for the winter.

Projects Include: Construction of research seedbeds, preparing BioTrays for winter, seeding fall species into seedbeds and trays, and more.
Refreshments will be provided!!!

What to bring: work clothes, close-toed shoes, sun hat, lunch and work gloves.

How to get there: Head North on Fort Valley like you're heading to the museum. Turn right off of Fort Valley following signs to Peaks Senior Living Community. Go straight instead of turning into the Peaks. Driveway will end in "T." Park at end of T or in lot on left.
