Seed, Plant and Tool Catalogs

sunflower.jpg

Well here it is January 1st and I am already looking at the seed catalogs. I had many in the mail in December in anticipation of my itching to begin gardening for 2009. Santa also brought me a gift certificate for my favorite nursery "High Country Gardens" so I have begun to peruse their catalog for my annual spring shopping trip to Santa Fe. Santa Fe has three of the best nurseries for high elevation, drought tolerant plants, shrubs and trees (High Country Gardens, Plants of the Southwest and Agua Fria Nursery ).

I am attaching my annual list of catalog resources (mail and on-line). It has been updated as several nurseries have moved and most have gone from e-mail to web sites. I will update it again in February, so if you have any changes or additions please let me know by e-mail. You can print the list from the site by clicking on the file. It is about 4 pages and includes: Seeds & Plants, Roses, Bulbs, Tools and local Arizona sites.
