Wellness Partnership on UA Campus

Welcome to Well U

You are invited to the official launch of the Well University (Well U) Partnership at a special Wellness Fair on April 10th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Ballroom of the UA Student Union. Well U is a grassroots initiative that is committed to creating and fostering a supportive wellness culture throughout the University of Arizona community. President Peter Likins will announce his endorsement of the Well U concept at noon at this groundbreaking event. All UA faculty, staff, students, retirees and alumni are invited to attend.

The Wellness Fair will include free samples of healthy food from the Student Union, wellness screenings, nutrition and fitness information, and live demonstrations of wellness modalities such as yoga and chair massage. Information about current resources and opportunities on the UA campus will also be available. Participating restaurants offering delectable samples include: Cactus Grill, IQ Fresh, Cafe Sonora, and Three Cheeses and a Noodle.

About the Well U Partnership:

The founding partners of Well U are: Campus Health Service, Campus Recreation, Life & Work Connections, Arizona Health Sciences Library, the Center for Physical Activity and Nutrition (CPAN), CCIT, Research Computing and Learning Technologies. The Well U Partnership seeks to bring together campus resources and community partners to form a network of support for all campus constituents: students, faculty, employees, retirees and alumni. Recruitment is underway to encourage additional campus organizations, departments, and programs to join the Well U Partnership.
