Learning Technologies Showcase Launches Website on Emerging Technologies Projects
This year's successful 11th Annual Learning Technology Showcase was held on May 4, 2006 at the Manuel Pacheco Integrated Learning Center. If you weren't able to attend, or you just want to have an opportunity to review the showcased projects, you could be eligible to win a $50 gift certificate from the UA Bookstore, just by completing an evaluation of the website.
This year, for the first time, an exciting new web presence was added to complement the day's events and the innovative and unique projects that instructors and staff have used to enhance student learning are featured. The projects will be showcased on the website for the coming year and you're invited to review the projects, listen to the audio interviews with the contributors and watch a streaming video of the keynote address.
The keynote address, "Mobile Learning, Immersive Technology, Emerging Technology and Successful Learning", was presented by Paul Hagner, Associate Program Director EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative.
Visit the Learning Technologies Showcase website (http://ltc.arizona.edu/lts/) to review the projects, listen to the contributors and evaluate the site for a chance to win the $50 gift certificate.
The showcase was coordinated by the Learning Technologies Center and sponsored by Gateway.
