Coming to a Residence Hall near you!

OSCR's main help desk has been a great success. It's always busy but one of the most common requests we hear is to provide help desk services closer to where students live and study. OSCR

We listened! In an effort to provide these services in a more convenient location for students, we are bringing assistance to a residence hall near you! FREE technology assistance can be found at a different residence hall 5 days a week.

Help is available for: general computing questions, using UA Wireless, MAC address registration, virus and spyware removal, software configuration, hardware troubleshooting, using the NAC (Network Access Control), and more! Students get the unique opportunity to learn what is done to solve these problems and how they can take care of their computers themselves!

Mobile Help Desk service is available on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis. Hours of service are Sunday 2 p.m.-6 p.m. and Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. — 8 p.m. If a problem cannot be resolved at the residence hall location, a priority appointment will be scheduled for the next business day in OSCR Underground (our main help desk in ILC 136).
