Technology funding now available

The Office of Student Computing Resources (OSCR) is happy to announce new
funds available to departments through the Technology Refresh Bank (TRB).

Gateway and Technology Refresh Bank

Made possible by the Gateway Strategic Initiative Funding Opportunities, the TRB is able to grant 15% of an entire funding award to departments purchasing Gateway computers when refreshing their student computing labs.

Part loan and part grant, the TRB was founded in 2001 to assist academic departments in annualizing the ongoing technology refresh expense of student computing labs. The TRB can provide 100 percent of the funds required and loan periods range from one to four years to meet a department's needs. In order to qualify for the 15 percent grant, at least 80 percent of the computers purchased with TRB funds must be Gateway brand.

Participation in the TRB is voluntary and nearly every college on campus has been a recipient during the past five years.

For more information and to apply for an award, please visit the Technology Refresh Bank.
