October: Page Layout and Web Dev Month

October is Page Layout and Web Development Month.

To kick it off, Adobe's Senior Solutions Engineer, Rick Miller, will be leading two demonstration sessions on Friday, October 5th. Starting at 9:00 a.m., Rick will demonstrate some tips and tricks in Acrobat 8 Professional. Come back at 11:30 a.m. and sit in while Rick gives us a peak at the entire Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium.

Are you using Office 2007?

Watch how you save that document!

Don't forget, we are now offering our lineup of Office Productivity workshops. For those of you who have moved to Office 2007 and need a little assistance with the new interface, ("Where the &^^%#^% is the FILE menu?" ) or saving documents that others can open, we have our Making the Transition series. You can choose a one-hour overview that includes Word, PowerPoint and Excel in the session titledOffice 2007 - What's new?. Or you can choose the more in depth session where we break up the three applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) into their own one hour sessions. Remember, these sessions are for folks who already use Office.

For new Office users, our traditional two-hour beginner workshops are still under construction. Let us know if you have time to sit through a trial run and give us some feedback. Free t-shirts will be awarded to all volunteers.

Dreamweaver continues to be in big demand but we have a few seats left in the currently scheduled sessions. Want a Dreamweaver workshop? When do you want it?

Also, we're revamping our Photoshop workshops and are eager to try them out to get some feedback from you.

As always, we take requests, so if you don't see what you need, when you need it, let us know!

Post your requests on the OSCR forum or send Catherine Zavala an email directly.
