New UA NetID passwords required
The University of Arizona is increasing its security measures to help ensure that your personal records and other important data are safe.
This semester, all University community members will be required to change their NetID password, on a rolling schedule beginning February 11th. You will receive a notification 2 weeks prior to when your password must be changed.
Your new password will be rated for its strength, and will be good from 45 days to a year, depending upon how strong it is. All passwords must be changed by the end of Spring 2008 semester. You can avoid forced expiration by changing your password anytime after January 26. For more information on NetID, point your browser to: http://uits.arizona.edu/index.php?id=817.
Community members who fail to make the required change may find themselves unable to access their e-mail or other network services.
